I recently interviewed Jasveer Singh, a BC-based journalist and self-described media relations spokesperson for the Khalistan movement. He called me a “bigot” who is “low information,” so I took his challenge to learn more firsthand. Now that I’ve heard their side of the story from Jasveer—a self-proclaimed Khalistan sympathizer—I’m taking a deeper look at the broader picture by speaking with additional journalists, researchers, and subject-matter experts.
Is the Khalistan movement just a peaceful, freedom-loving group, or have they co-opted our Charter rights and the label of “freedom” to build an army and bring their conflict to Canadian soil?
Join me and my guests on @TheLavigneShow, where I’ll ask tough questions, hear more perspectives and dig into the facts. You won’t want to miss it.
Warning for Albertans and Canadians: My Upgraded Concerns About the Khalistani Movement
After spending over an hour in the attached X Space with self described Khalistani “media relations” spokesperson Jasveer Singh, @JazzTheJourno on X, I feel compelled to raise my concern to a warning about the Khalistani movement’s activities in Canada.
Active Militant Arms
According to Jasveer, several militant arms of the Khalistani movement—such as the Khalistan Liberation Force—are actively targeting government officials. Jasveer went so far as to celebrate the murder of a General, revealing a disturbing willingness to condone violence.
“Mostly” Peaceful in Canada?
Jasveer insists the Canadian arm of the Khalistani movement focuses primarily on political awareness, distancing it from the more violent elements abroad. However, he admits to being a propagandist with deep sympathies for the movement, which he defended vigorously—even downplaying the 1985 Air India bombing, the worst terrorist attack in Canadian history.
Staged RCMP Photo
Jasveer confirmed that an RCMP recruitment photo featuring Khalistani supporters and flags was staged—further raising questions about how the movement promotes itself in Canada and the involvement within the Alberta RCMP.
Debate Over Canadian Rights and Protests in Canada
Jasveer’s Position: For Canada to be truly free, it should allow, encourage, and even support foreign political activities, including ones with active violent means. A view that is shared by NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh.
My Position: Protests in Canada should concern Canadian governance and issues in Canada, not promote foreign or violent causes. I believe the Canadian Charter primarily protects Canadian citizens’ rights to protest the Canadian issues and the Canadian government.
Why This Matters
Confirmation of Active Militant Ties
There is open acknowledgment of ongoing militaristic activities within the Khalistani movement—including the celebration of violence against government officials.
Safe Harbour
Canadians need to be aware that individuals who sympathize with, or justify, violent extremism may be using Canada as a safe haven for spreading propaganda, participating in recruitment activities, and intending to use Canada to launch additional political attacks on foreign governments.
It’s time to address the reality of possible foreign terrorist elements operating from Canadian soil. We must demand that our authorities investigate and prevent safe harbouring of militants—especially those who celebrate or condone violence in the name of foreign political goals.
Canada is a place where freedom of speech is valued, but that freedom should not shield those advocating violence or terror under the guise of political activism.
This conversation with Jasveer Singh confirms that Khalistani militancy is not just history—it’s an ongoing concern. Let’s stand together to ensure Canada remains a safe, law-abiding country for all its citizens.

Due to the need to vote on several bills in the Legislature today, this interview with Hon. Mickey Amery will need to be rescheduled.
I'll post a new date and time as soon as I receive one.
Thanks!
Hi supporters,
It has been a long campaign and evening. Sadly, it appears that Team Lavigne won't be elected this time around.
We thank everyone who took the time to support us and got out to vote.
For the rest of the week, we are going to recharge, regroup, and get back to several projects that took a backseat to the campaign.
We'll be back next week ready to bring you even more shows, interviews, and truth.
Much love, God bless.
